scottxav Q Bend by Dr. Zodiac reviewed by Scott Xavier
Coming straight out of the basement vault of Doctor Zodiac, the QBend comes from years of trial and error. With too many aliases, I am happy to say this bend is one I use regularly!
With the chopper being fixed I’ve decided I wanted to start lecturing world wide yet again. So the Underground Lecture series was revived and now features my 100% used pieces. They are the meat and potatoe effects I use in my national touring corporate show! If you want no nonsense mentalism for your show, check the Underground Lecture series out for more.
A borrowed and signed penny is seen to visually bend using psychokinesis… It’s that good! If you are looking to buy it, you aren’t looking hard enough. Scroll to the top and click store. It’s right there….

scottxav Color Changing Sponge Balls by Bizarro review
I have to admit… To all of the magic community… I went with a preconceived notion that the color changing sponge balls would be boring and uneventful. I was wrong. Biz is a master of the cooky and spooky and his routine is truly a work of art. Even for a mentalist, the sponge balls can be used for some pretty fun presentations! Novel and fun, just like the man himself…
The moves happen as magic should, fast and in front of the spectators. Biz has killer lines that make it a lot of fun. I highly recommend this!
I am proud to call this man a friend! Simply genius!

scottxav JOL Plus Wallet review

The JOL plus wallet has been the most amazing prop in my arsenal since I purchased one. From no palm card to wallet to confabulation, nearly everything is possible with is wallet.
Being a mentalist why would I use it? Well the simple answer is that it is a killer peek wallet. Since mark strivings isn’t answering emails about the suc business card wallet, this is the next best thing.
I opted for the small version. It is the perfect size. If you are thinking of getting this wallet. Get it. I’m not a huge fan of the wonder unit, as it doesn’t make sense to take out the unit to write then find it inside the wallet.
Be careful with older wallets, as they were sold without the I’d case and wonder unit. However for the right price it may be worth it. The leather raftsmen ship on these is superb. And for the card to wallet, confabulation routine, sealed envelope predictions, peek wallet, and a darn good carrier for props the JOL is definitely a great wallet in my opinion!
A huge plus is now a passport wallet too…
Blaney Ladder Illusion
April 26th, 2012
scottxav There exist some illusions that look like real magic. The Blaney ladder levitation is one of those illusions. It’s semi practical and sturdy. It’s in essence an audience member suspension and a one man illusion. All the worlds top illusionists have it. From Copperfield to Lu Chen, the best know the best.
It has been attempted to be duplicated by several builders such as Jim Sommers however the duplications droop and sag. The power of the Blaney is in how well it’s made. I give this illusion a huge thumbs up! If you have the money get it now…

scottxav A review of Lybrary.com
Many years ago, Chris Wasshuber emailed me and asked if I would like to release a few products on his website. Having purchased books from him before, I was a HUGE fan and jumped at the global coverage. I have never looked back. Chris and Lyrary.com are my exclusive supplier of magic books to the magician and magic community.
